Original Norwegian youth armband from the NSUF , the youth organization of Nasjonal Samling, similar to the Dutch Jeugdstorm. The armband is made of green cotton, the Norwegian youth section's signature color. The emblem is not printed but sewn on, with the sun cross and the two upright swords embroidered.

These armbands were worn only by the boys in the organization. The girls wore an armband with only the sun cross. NSUF armbands are considerably less common than regular NS party armbands, because the youth organization was smaller and much of the material was destroyed after the war. The combination of a green background, embroidery, and a sewn-on emblem makes this type recognizable and sought-after among Norwegian collaboration memorabilia.

Condition

The armband is in good condition for its age, with sturdy cotton and a clear, well-preserved logo. The embroidery and stitching are intact, and the fabric shows only minor signs of age, consistent with the material.
